Tim Bradley, born 17.12.1969 in Ormskirk, Lancashire.
Started to learn the guitar when i was 12yrs old, around the time when
the 1st Stray Cats album was released. Was listening to various types
of music then and first songs i learn't were some Shadows and Chuck
Berry songs.
Took up classical guitar and did grades 3-6 reaching grade 6 when i was
16yrs old. Same year i was awarded service to the School for services
to the Music dept at St Bedes R.C High, Ormskirk.
Started to play semi pro at 17yrs in a duo doing 80s chart stuff plus
Elvis too. We won our 1st talent competion the same year.
Got into playing in bands 2 yrs later( 1989 ) playing mainly rock music
from 70s/80s. These were local bands called Black Rose and Sweet Mercy.
Won various battle of bands competitions in North West England.
Continued playing all over the North of England as a semi pro guitarist
in more bands through the 90s ie: Unchained ( blues/rock combo ),
Reckless ( Preston based Hard rock band ), Boogie Wonderband ( 70s
funk/disco/party band ), The Real Police ( Police Tribute Band ) and Cowboys &
Angels ( Blackpool based rock showband ).
General Lee was the last band i played in We were a local west Lancashire 3 piece band playing Rock n Roll and blues rock covers.
Then in Late 1999 I moved from Lancashire to Folkestone, Kent to join full-time
rock n roll band Blast Off and have remained a member for past 7 yrs
recording 2 studio albums and touring all over UK and Europe.
2001 - Formed Heroes ( new wave tribute band ) with Driss with which we
still tour weekly with Blast Off and have recorded 3 live cds and a DVD.
Main guitarist influences are - Brian Setzer, Dave Edmunds, Stevie Ray
Vaughn.
Love most types of music, especially rockin guitar stuff!!
Also am a lover of Drums ( played for school orchestra / amature
plays/productions ) and have had drum lessons over the years and continue to
play as a hobbie for enjoyment.
